Introducing Takedown Advantage

Takedown’s had a software-driven scoreboard feature for a long time. hookup your iPad to an HDMI cable, attach the other end to a digital display and — poof! — wrestling scoreboard. For single sided, mat-side scoreboards, this implementation is simple but limited in terms of how many people can see the scoreboard. To reach more people at an event, a multi-sided scoreboard is necessary.

To address this need, we designed a mounting system that makes it easy and inexpensive to cleanly integrate all the requisite hardware — monitors, cables, HDMI splitter, power, tripod — into a multi-sided scoreboard solution that can be driven by Takedown Scoring and Stats or any other software-driven wrestling scoreboard. A custom design, Takedown Advantage doesn’t necessarily need to be torn down after use. Just pick it up by the handle, lift it off of the tripod and store it on a shelf.

And, the cost? If you need to purchase everything, a 2 x 32” display implementation is less than $400.

If you already have the monitors, less than $200.
